Thankfully, the University of New Mexico has the solution!

During a match between BYU and New Mexico we got a look at the Lobos awesome Elizabeth Lambert, a junior defender at New Mexico, who is just a bad-ass bully and was not penalized during the match for the following actions:

Throwing elbows, punching, tripping, near decapitation by hair pulling, kicking balls into someone’s face and sucker punches?

Sounds like a typical night with Chris Brown, but not what you’d expect from a college soccer game.

The Lobos lost the game 1-0 despite the dirty tactics. The kicked and punched those cute little Mormon girls around the field but forgot to put up any points.

Lambert won’t win a Miss Congeniality pageant anytime soon and thanks to the coverage by ESPN, she won’t be playing soccer for awhile. The University handed down a suspension to Lambert after the embarrassing video lit up the Internet.

So sad….no more hair pulling or carnage on the field for awhile.

Elizabeth Lambert is our new favorite player in sports and we’re hoping for more of her MMA-inspired play. She’s just a dirty, dirty woman and we like a woman who likes it rough! Someone needs a spanking…

Amid a hoard of attention from the blogosphere today, New Mexico announced that Lambert has been suspended indefinitely from all team practices, competition and conditioning activities.

“I am deeply and wholeheartedly regretful for my actions,” Lambert said in a statement posted on the school’s web site. “My actions were uncalled for. I let my emotions get the best of me in a heated situation. I take full responsibility for my actions and accept any punishment felt necessary from the coaching staff and UNM administration. This is in no way indicative of my character or the soccer player that I am. I am sorry to my coaches and teammates for any and all damages I have brought upon them. I am especially sorry to BYU and the BYU women’s soccer players that were personally affected by my actions. I have the utmost respect for the BYU women’s soccer program and its players.” [source]
