Someone at HBO deserves a pat on the back for merging their channel with the humor of “Funny or Die” for a new sketch series. Full-length trailer is at the bottom of this post but let’s get your primed first.

Funny or Die Presents is a new series on HBO that combines the awesomeness of the Internet with the ability to watch shit on TV. Yes, viral video maker Funny or Die joins up with HBO for what might be the best thing ever on TV in the history of the universe.

Or not. But we bet it’s funny either way.

Judd Apatow, Will Farrel, and Adam McKay are just a few of the brains behind the show which will give people a reason to get HBO back after they cut the cord when the Sopranos left. Some people are still in mourning, we understand. But it’s time to gather the pieces together and move forward.

And a ton of fucking awesome comedians and celebrities make appearances in the show including Zack Galifianakis, Ed Helms, Rob Huebel, Wayne Newton, Paul Scheer, Don Cheadle, John C. Reilly, David Spade, Zooey Deschanel, and about 100 more.

This is going to be great! We are really gonna wear out the DVR with this series.

Will Ferrell and some of his Hollywood friends speak out to help insurance companies who are getting a the short end of the stick with Health Care Reform. Please, won’t you help out. Insurance executives are doing a tremendous job and don’t deserve to have their multi-million dollar bonuses cut.

The 2009 MTV Movie Awards happened last night. Yeah, we didn’t know they still did them either. But kudos for this Saturday Night Live Andy Samberg song about movie explosions. Not for the movie clips. Not for Will Ferrell showing up as either Neil Diamond or that character from “Blades of Glory.” Nope, this video goes in the vault for the super awesome keyboard solo by J.J. Abrams.

Sid and Marty Krofft are finally hitting the big screen with the adaptation of the beloved television show LAND OF THE LOST. Will Ferrell and Anna Friel (ABC’s Pushing Daisies) inadvertently stumble into a mysterious land populated by dinosaurs and other creatures, including the mysterious and dangerous race of Sleestak.

This Super Bowl spot for LAND OF THE LOST is the first trailer for the movie due out on June 5th in theaters.

Universal Pictures has provided TrailerAddict with the Super Bowl spot for Land of the Lost, the comedic adaptation starring Will Ferrell, Danny R. McBride and Anna Friel.
