Jerry Seinfeld is back on TV, kinda, in a new series of Acura commericals. The Luxury Honda label is bringing out a killer NSX that makes the old version look like a Hot Wheel. Very Nice.

I personally like the couch made of bikini babes but I’ll take the Lionel Ritchie blender as well. That sounds sweet.

This year for the big game, the 2012 Chevy Super Bowl commercials features the winner of Chevy’s Route66 competition. Watch Zack Borst’s winning entry as the grad who gets the gift of a new car. CareerBuilder.com has created some great ads in the past primarily because they employ chimps. As much as I love to see chimps dressed up as people, my favorite ad from them is still the Lighting Farts in the Cubicle commercial that never aired.

This year for the 2012 Super Bowl, Career Builder has brought back the chimps and I’m excited. Here’s a look at the latest ad.

So at this point who knows what happens. Unless you own a Nielsen box or watch the episodes on NBC.com or Hulu.com, there’s probably not much else to do other than hang out and see if they TV show comes back. For now we are stuck with another Arrested Development / Firefly scenario where a good show gets kicked too soon.

It’s a sad day to think there won’t be anymore Alison Brie Animated GIFs.

The Eternal Ron Swanson GIF was great. But it lacked something. Something to make it so great your head would explode. That’s why bacon was invented.

It’s so original and I love that laugh track. At first I was like, “Why is Karen Carpenter flashing her panties in every promo?” and then it was just such a golden treat to watch the show. Such elevated writing and complex jokes that I didn’t see coming. And those storylines….whew!  Do they just glisten with uniqueness.

It’s hard to believe NBC, which sometimes comes in 4th place in the ratings, doesn’t ditch more critically acclaimed and talented shows like Community in place of POS’s like Whitney. I mean, that’s how they got to be the lowest rated prime-time network around.

Maybe they’ll bring back The Single Guy!

Proving that Community is more detailed that the most dense episode of Lost, here’s a comedy joke that arched over 3 seasons.  If you say “Beetlejuice” 3 times, you’ll make him appear.  Guess what? They said it three times over the course of three seasons and look who shows up.

Over the years Marshall has been terrorizing Barney with the potential of slaps and after another bet, Marshall gets Barney to give up 3 more slaps. That brings the total up to 8, of which 6 are accounted for. Here they are in fantastic GIF format.

The unofficial song for the restaurant chains of the Middle Eastern Red Lobsters, “Iraq Lobster” is sung by Peter Griffin to the tune of “Rock Lobster” by the B-52′s.  It’s not the first time Pete has played that song on the Family Guy as he did it once before to cheer up Cleveland. But this unique version about a Middle Eastern lobster, turban and all, is as captivating as the dance.

Barry wasn’t actually on the air at the time. He just worked at the station but once the crew go wind of the winner they called Barry up to let him know the good news.
