Sorry Charlie, but Hagoromo Sea Chicken is the best!

This Japanese commercial circa 1978 reminds us why George Lucas started suing the crap out of everyone that stole the copyright or likeness of his sci-fi saga.

We’re also guessing that whoever made this commercial featuring various Star Wars characters enjoying the tuna was high on drugs. Even for Japan, this is odd.

This is great. An art student reimagined the opening credits to Star Wars in a clever way. If Star Wars was filmed two decades earlier and Saul Bass did the opening title sequence, it “might” look like this…

We love a good mashup! Han Solo is Tony Montana in the newest version of the Star Wars Universe. If you were ever wondering what it would be like to watch the classic film  Scarface with Han Solo as the lead character [and who hasn't?!] we have the trailer for the upcoming movie of your dreams.

A great mash-up of the 2 movies and the addition of some great music yield one great movie.  We’d pay to see this! Looks almost as good as the Up/Gran Torino mashup

Everything’s better with a laugh track! Take this critical scene from the Star Wars movie Empire Strikes Back. Luke and Vader are dueling it out for control of the family jewels.

Yes folks, this is happening. There’s a tremor in the Force thanks to the nerds at Adidas who have conjured up a fantastic collection of Star Wars inspired shoes for their 2010 lineup.

Get your geek on with shoes inspired by the movie characters and vehicles. We find the lack of a Jar-Jar Binks shoe disturbing but we think we can make do with the great colletion offered. [via StarWars.com] The collection for the first season is split into three packs — The Characters Pack, the Vehicles Pack and the Direct Pack. The products in each pack take inspiration from the respective aspect of the Star Wars lexicon from legendary characters and crafts to classic scenes and fuse them with iconic adidas Originals silhouettes. The pieces will begin to hit all adidas Originals stores and other select retailers in January. Also, look out for a very special web application announcing the adidas and Star Wars collaboration which will hit the internet within the next couple of weeks. Below is an overview of the products within each pack.

Kayla Kromer [Yes, a woman not a dude] created this bed in the form of Star Wars’ Millennium Falcon to the delight of fans everywhere. The bed is a highly detailed recreation of Han Solo’s shaggin’ wagon and comes complete with lights and hidden pockets to smuggle goods.

Kudos to Kayla for the bed and also dressing up like Leia from Empire Strikes Back and not going the easy [and overdone] path of the slave-girl Leia. The Hoth Leia works just fine for this!

This week’s odd Star Wars news revolves around a dude making a great costume for his dog and coverting a rather ubiquitous Miniature Pinscher into a deadly AT-AT!

It’s not everyday that we find something interesting to write about on the “Today Show.” But if they hire more drunk midgets we’d tune in everyday!

The “Today Show” featured a Halloween theme of Star Wars characters including Al “Han Solo” Roker. During a rather lackluster segment on how to decorate for Halloween, things were livened up with two drunk ewoks who basically made a mess of everything.

It starts out innocently enough but quick turns into one of our most favorite clips on the Internet. Where else can you see Ewoks chugging drinks, throwing food, fist fighting with a little kung-fu, moonwalking and humping Al Roker’s leg?
