NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has been working hard to help keep the image of the league clean of troublemakers.

New rules and regulations help weed out the riff-raff  but now it turns out an even bigger nuisance wants to buy his way into the sport.

Controversial windbag Rush Limbaugh is one of the members of a group of rich people wanting to purchase the St. Louis Rams. This, as you can imagine, did not go over well with many people including some owners and players.

The radio personality has created an image over the years as a knee jerk reactionary with racist tendencies.  Not exactly a good fit for a prospering sports league.  And it looks like the NFL won’t debate too long about the issue as Goodell has already weighed in on the subject by saying:

“I’ve said many times before we’re all held to a high standard here, and I think divisive comments are not what the NFL is all about,” Goodell said. “I would not want to see those comments coming from people who are in a responsible position in the NFL, absolutely not.“

There are a lot of obvious reasons the NFL would deny Rush from being one of their owners.  However, we were able to research more into the situation and found a few of Rush Limbaugh’s proposals for the Rams that really sent up a red flag.

4) Halftime show will feature burning effigy of Barack Obama and Up With People singing “Barack, the Magic Negro.“

3) Demands NFL strip New England of their team name and allow his team to be named the “Patriots”
