Finally. The Netflix Apology

Currently, Netflix and HP are in a race to see who can tank their company the fastest. It’s kinda mind boggling to me but they’re just flopping around out there as if a bunch of hobos are running the companies.

Netflix has botched their once successful business plan that had a loyal following with an epic lack of communication and confusing business plan. Price hikes and an unnecessary split of the company into two entities, Netflix and Whogivesadamnster, have divided and angered customers.

The heads of Netflix were on television and sat down on NBC’s Saturday Night Live to issue an official apology to the users. It clears some things up…kinda.

Zach Galifianakis Drops By The Set and Shaves his Beard

Zach Galifianakis hosted Saturday Night Live this weekend which probably marks the first time in a generation that they have had a comedian host the show.

One of the best parts of the evening, however, was when Zach ran backstage while Vampire Weekend performed and shaved off his iconic hobo beard. Yes, he actually did shave the little guy off. Here’s a video of the incident.

Thankfully, after the skit with Zach sans beard he was able to get a replacement.

The promos for this week’s episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live are funnier than everything they have done over the last 3 years. Which isn’t saying much but since we’re huge fans of Zach Galifianakis (and his Amy Adams impersonation) we will actually have to watch this one.

This might be our new favorite video. The hosts of some talk show down there in Austrailia are whipping out their Wii‘s and shaking them about in a rather awesome fashion while shouting “Here it comes.”

Fantastic.

Reminds us of the Saturday Night Live skit with Alec Baldwin but since this is live TV it is on another level of awesomeness!

Jenny Slate SNL F Bomb

Jenny Slate is the new chick on SNL and slipped out the F-bomb on the 35th season premiere of Saturday Night Live hosted by Megan Fox. It’s not the first time that the F-word has been said on SNL but we’re sure the FCC will send her a nice “Welcome to Prime Time” fine for the sllip.

MacGruber To Blow Up A Theater Near You

Don’t look now, but there’s a good chance you will finally get to see Richard Dean Anderson make a “MacGyver” movie for theaters.

Well,….maybe not really.

The Saturday Night Live version of the duct tape/Swiss Army Knife guru is being scheduled for a big screen adaptation. Comedian Will Forte made a series of spoofs called “MacGruber” that became popular enough to warrant a Super Bowl Commercial and even an appearance from the mighty Richard Dean himself. Awesome!

Will Forte’s bumbling spy MacGruber is headed for the bigscreen as the latest in a long line of “Saturday Night Live” characters to make that transition.

“SNL’s” Kristen Wiig will reprise her Vicki character for the feature. Val Kilmer and Ryan Phillippe are in talks to join the cast.

Forte — who will return to “SNL” in the fall — debuted the parody of the 1980s action-adventure series “MacGyver” in 2007.
