Helping Russia Again? Confused Georgians on Gustav Alert
Georgia Governor Slim McGhee has had a tough month. First, he called out the National Guard from their kegger when he was informed Georgia was being invaded by Russians in a real-life “Red Dawn.” McGhee, a child of the Cold War as well as a huge Patrick Swayze fan, never held back on his hatred for Soviet Russia and immediately scrambled the ‘Boys‘ to defend Atlanta.
“No sir. Don’t trust ‘em,” stated the Georgian Governor. “I’ve kept the National Guard on alert since (the other) Georgia went under attack. Ya never know with those tricky Commies. We have strong intelligence that Russia is wanting our Georgia as well.”
The intelligence in question is from McGhee’s neighbor, Austin Lea, who is the State Taxidermists as well as Intelligence Officer. Lea became worried about Federal funds supporting the Russians when he learned that the U.S. Government is funding aid to Gustav.
“Damn Ruskies,” exclaimed Lea in between bites of his Rootie-Tootie-Fresh-n-Fruity pancakes at a northern IHOP. “Just like those Yankees to support another invasion of the South. I don’t know who this Gustaf [sic] is but we don’t need to be givin’ any Russian our money!”
Lea has issued 12,567 security alerts this year including the Georgian attacks and Gustav aid. Most of the alerts, like the nightly alien cow abduction alerts and the alerts to catch the homeless man stealing napkins from the Varsity restaurant, don’t require the calling up of the National Guard. However, with the Russians possibly bearing down for a real life “Red Dawn” there’s no room for error.
Lea was later informed that Gustav was a devastating Hurricane heading toward Louisiana instead of a Russian the Americans were aiding to overthrow his home but with little change. He called “Gustav” a code name for a Black Ops mission to overthrow Atlanta.
“A Russian Hurricane. Yeah, right! Now I’ve seen it all…”
