Due to some questionable college credentials, Winger was forced back to get his degree but I always wondered what it was like to see Winger in action in court.

Thankfully, we found a clip from Bill Nye the Science Guy about Fluids featuring Joel McHale as a defendant accused of drinking the prosecutor’s hot chocolate.

Netflix has botched their once successful business plan that had a loyal following with an epic lack of communication and confusing business plan.  Price hikes and an unnecessary split of the company into two entities, Netflix and Whogivesadamnster, have divided and angered customers.

The heads of Netflix were on television and sat down on NBC’s Saturday Night Live to issue an official apology to the users. It clears some things up…kinda.

With too many pop culture references to count on most episodes, here’s one that stands out as just epic.

In a beautiful moment that is a reference to one of the best movies ever, Stanley Kubrick’s ‘2001: A Space Odyssey,’ Jeff enters an alternate state of mind where he and Pierce are competing to be at the Magic Table.

It’s triggered by monkey gas, called Chimpan-Zzz, that’s released into the air vents to, well, you guessed it, knock out monkeys.

What’s the Magic Table you ask?

Gotta watch the episode to find out. But you should be asking yourself why they’re trying to knock out monkeys in the air vents.

Let’s just say that ‘Annie’s Boobs’ have busted out again.

But that probably didn’t bother the cast and crew of the show, did it?

Show creator Dan Harmon tweeted this awesome, yet sad, picture from the set.  Sigh…and ‘The Big Bang Theory’ gets nominated for Best Comedy?  Really?

Is there anything more useless in this world than a micromanager? Can’t really think of anything offhand….

Anyway, our favorite mustachioed hero Ron Swanson gets the joy of having to interact with the public, something he hates as much as I would, and is put center stage in a new round desk with a swivel chair.

Ron of course acts accordingly.

One of the best characters on television is Ron Swanson from NBC’s “Park and Recreation.” I wish more bosses were as cool as him. Ron Swanson enjoyed a bit too much Snake Juice last week in the GIF above and dances a bit like I do whenever the Vols beat Florida.

He’s a great dancer, just like me. Plus, I dig the hat.

One great thing about Ron Swanson you should know is that he’s a tough man. He enjoys whiskey, meat, woodworking and more meat. And when it comes to something silly like going to the dentist to get a tooth pulled, well that’s just something a handyman like Ron can take care of himself.

Joel McHale is the luckiest guy in the universe. He hosts the pop culture shooting gallery called “The Soup” on some channel on cable. It’s one of the best shows out there next to his day job which is the character Jeff Winger on NBC’s “Community.”

The witty “Community” is one of the best shows on TV right now but that’s a post for another day. Right now it’s important to point out that Joel’s role on “The Soup” is to make fun of stuff on the TV including the bimbo hosts of the “Today” show.

And what better place to do that then on the “Today” show. And to their faces….

NBC, USA Network and SyFy programs will be added that include the pop-culture series Psych, the geek-tastic Battlestar Galactica, as well as all the back catalogs of NBC shows like Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock and The Office.

The good news is the addition of new material.  BSG and Psych are awesome additions but the newest episodes of SNL and sitcoms like The Office are great.

The NBC deal with Netflix is another middle finger to Apple, which NBC has fought with for years over the prices of their shows in the iTunes store.  NBC claims that the value of their shows are more than the $.99 price tag Apple offers for TV show rentals.  Instead, it is OK to stream as much as you want for $9 a month.

You don’t need a calculator to figure out that NBC’s logic doesn’t add up there but who cares.  Anyone with a Wii, XBox, PS3 or Netflix-capable streaming device can enjoy in the muddled logic.  The deal should kick off the new additions to the Instant Streaming section some time next week.

* Episodes from every season of NBC’s signature comedy franchise “Saturday Night Live,” including day-after broadcast of the upcoming 2010, 2011 and 2012 seasons plus hundreds of episodes from the first 35 years of “SNL.”

* Every episode from the last season of the multiple Emmy® Award-winning series “30 Rock,” “The Office” and “Law & Order: SVU,” as well as earlier seasons of those shows renewed for streaming from Netflix under the current deal.

* All prior seasons – and eventually next year’s final season – of “Friday Night Lights,” the small-town drama surrounding high-school football in Dillon, Tex.

* All prior seasons of USA Network hits “Psych,” the comedy featuring James Roday as a fake psychic who solves crimes with his best friend, Dule Hill; the drama “In Plain Sight,” starring Mary McCormack as a U.S. Marshal in New Mexico; as well as all seasons of “Monk,” starring Emmy® Award and Golden Globe® Award winner Tony Shalhoub in the title role. Prior seasons of all three shows are available to watch instantly at Netflix for the first time.

* More than 75 prior season episodes of Syfy’s mainstay “Battlestar Galactica,” as well as prior seasons of the network’s popular series’ “Destination Truth” and “Eureka” – all streaming from Netflix for the first time.

It seems that NBC Universal will take an interesting approach handling a source material that spans seven novels and a series of comic books, by stretching the story across multiple media platforms. The plan is for a trilogy of movies and a television series, with the first film in the trilogy to be immediately followed by a television series that will bridge the second film. After the second film, the television series will pick up allowing viewers to explore the adventures of
the protagonist as a young man as a bridge to the third film and beyond.

Ron Howard, aka Little Opie Taylor, is set to direct both the first film and first season of the TV series. Howard will also act as producer for the series, teaming with fellow industry stalwarts Akiva Goldsman and Brian Grazer. For more on the details, check out the press release.

It’s an interesting strategy and we’ll be looking forward to see how it all comes together. NBC Universal will be investing a lot in this series so let’s hope they do it right, we’d hate to see them cock up such a cool series.

The honorable Judge Harry T. Stone is a young hip, jeans wearing, liberal eccentric; and he presides over New York Manhattan “Night Court.” The NBC sitcom was a staple on the Thursday night “Must See TV” along with the great “Cheers” before moving around the NBC lineup.

The hilarity of this show stems from the goofball characters like Nostradamus “Bull” Shannon and Dan Fielding and their issues with the job.

No matter what you took away from the show there is one thing that we can all agree on. Once you listen to that theme song you will not get it out of your head for days. Cue the sax solo!!
