THOR Comic Con Trailer
The trailer for the movie Thor that was shown at Comic Con 2010 has surfaced on the Internet and it looks surprisingly good. When I heard that the next big comic book movie was based on the hammer-wielding Thor I must admit I was less than thrilled about this character getting a big budget flick.
However, they put together a good cast and crew so it looks to avoid being Daredevil bad. And that’s a good thing. Man, Daredevil just sucked so bad.
Thor is Directed by Kenneth Branagh and stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo and Stellan Skarsgard. THOR will be in theaters in May 2011.
Check out the trailer below. It’s a long, long trailer and probably showcases too much of the story for you die-hard fans that don’t want to be spoiled next May.
Casting Call: Live-Action Venture Bros
The prospect of a live-action Venture Bros. movie is just too awesome to comprehend. Seriously, I think something just popped in my head.
To add to the awesomeness, the guys at UGO.com have gone ahead and put in their thoughts on who should play the Venture Bros characters. It’s a great list and they’ve nailed most of the characters.
Quit looking at me!

Bill Murray has become quite a cult icon of late.
If you are a fan of the quirky comedian you need to check out his 1990 movie “Quick Change” in which he stars as a clown bank robber. Murray also co-directed the movie.
Here’s a great scene from the beginning of the movie after Murray the clown holds up a Manhattan bank and the hostage negotiators are sent in.
“Quick Change” is an underrated dark comedy that got looked over by a lot of people.
But not me. I love it as a nutty flick with a great Mexican jousting scene.
American History X, the Video Game
Sadly, for the Xbox 360 only. Now lift those knees harder. The game is a lot tougher than it looks. I can never get past that scene in the prison shower where Edward Norton gets manhandled. [via]
Sweet! Nike power laces from Back To The Future
Marty McFly and his snazzy Nike shoes with the power laces have been a promise from Hollywood that has never arrived. Just like the Hoverboard in Back to the Future 2, the Nike shoes are still a ways off.
Well, not exactly.
Turns out someone made a mock-up of the shoes with their own power laces. The shoes are the ugliest things I’ve ever seen before and looks like a peep took a crap over them but the make-shift power laces are cool.
