Links….the Final Frontier
Hey! We’re excited because “Star Trek” is finally coming out on DVD. We can’t believe we had to wait 5 months for it. This rapid turnover of movies nowadays is a far cry from when we grew up and movies came out on VHS about a year later. Usually the buzz of the movie had worn off by then and watching it again was almost a new experience unless you saw it a dozen times in the theater.
No streaming or torrents back in those days. Man, those days really sucked now that we think about it….

Michael Jackson Screws Older Man
Even in death Michael Jackson is a menace.
The estate of MJ released a new Michael Jackson song, “This Is It [listen here],” this week in anticipation of the new movie “This Is It” due out sometime. We don’t really care when. Maybe they’ll do a double feature with a Hannah Montana movie to give us more reason to stay home.
What’s fun is the song was not even up a few days before there word of plagiarism, kinda.
Turns out that 68-year old crooner Paul Anka, the dashing man to the left, co-wrote the song with MJ back in the early eighties. The two had a falling out and Anka took the song years later to a relatively unknown singer named Safire who released the song as “I Never Heard” in 1991.
Flashforward to this week when Anka heard “This Is It” and promptly called his lawyers. Now he is being given 50% credit and royalties on the song, a very costly mistake for the Jackson estate who was planning on using the song to promote the movie and even use it in commercials.
It’s just nice to hear that MJ can finally be associated with screwing someone and it not being a young boy. Check out the Safire version of the song below.

Football is back and in full swing so we’re happy. This week also sees a new season of TV shows kick off which is hit and miss. While some great shows like “The Office” and “Fringe” start back up it also means the usual rounds of lowest-common denominator reality shows. And to top it off we still have to wait 4 months for “Lost” to return… dang it!

Rare Michael Jackson Home Video Released
This little blond headed boy, who may or may not be Macaulay Culkin, shows us in this lost video found in Michael Jackson collection how NOT to brush your teeth. That method may work at Neverland Ranch but we don’t think that it’s too practical in real life.
That’s a good style to earn $10 on Magnolia Ave, though.
Remember to spit when you’re done.
Michael Jacksons Hair On Fire: 1984 Pepsi Accident Video Found
The never-before-seen footage of the singer’s 1984 Pepsi commercial accident that many insiders say kick started the King of Pop-Culture’s addiction to pain pills. The clip from US Weekly shows one take where the pyrotechnics exploded as planned — after Jackson descended the stairs and began performing with his brothers. On the sixth take, though, things went horribly wrong: The fireworks erupted too early, igniting Jackson’s head in flames. Jackson is at first unaware he’s on fire, and continues dancing.
Auto-Tuned the News 6 with Michael Jackson
Auto-Tune is a phase vocoder to correct pitch in vocal and instrumental performances. It is used to disguise inaccuracies and mistakes, and has allowed many artists to produce more precisely tuned recordings. It is the staple of pop music today. Mostly if you are a hot blond under the age of 25.
This video is about current news and is auto-tuned into a song to talk about Michael Jackson, Sarah Palin, and various problems in the World.
Time To Move On
Creepy Baby [via]
Michael Jackson’s memorial was held today marking the end of a 2-week long pop culture extravaganza. The passing of the King of Pop has been great for cable networks and even bottle-necked the Internet as people flock to find news, videos, and images of Jacko.
Personally, we’re not buying it.
True insiders like us know the Michael Jackson who died this year was his replacement. The real Michael left the public eye during the “Bad” tour and his replacement took over full time soon after.
Fearing he couldn’t deliver on the huge public demand for his music and everyday living, Jackson continued to sing the vocals of “Dangerous” but snuck away and left the public role as “King of Pop” to his apprentice. Old Michael assumed a new identity (which he’s been trying to achieve for many years) and disappeared.
His replacement is skillfully trained to assume his role. The new Michael uses plastic surgery and face masks to help conceal the differences but can’t hide the fact he likes little boys.

X Files: Michael Jacksons Ghost at Neverland Ranch
Forget the conspiracy theories about Michael Jackson faking his death so he could hang with Biggie, Tupac and Kurt Cobain at the Waffle House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. We have video evidence from Larry King that shows the ghost of Michael Jackson while they tour the Neverland Ranch. Who knows dead spirits better than Larry King? He’s closer to them than the living….
Michael Jackson Tribute by Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppets
In case you have not heard, Michael Jackson has died. We know. The media really buried that story. To help honor the fallen King of Poop Pop a couple of Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppets have made a tribute to him by presenting the lyrics to Michael Jackson’s “Earth Song.”
It’s Been A Bad Week
Adolf is back again and as usual he reacts badly to the news that Michael Jackson has passed away and will not be able to perform at the Birthday party.
