Knoxville Comcast Adds HD Channels

Folks in Knoxville surfing their Comcast for something to watch tonight will be happier. Knoxville Comcast has stepped closer to living up to their claim of having the most HD channels by actually adding HD channels people will watch. This doesn’t include PPV or music channels which have been the loophole that Comcast uses for claiming their number of HD channels.

Even though it appears that for some damn reason HBO will never have HD on Demand we were pleased to see that Comcast finally offers some channels in HD that we’ve been wanting for quite a long time. Like ESPN news or Comedy Central. Even G4 so we can watch next week’s Comic-con and Olivia Munn closeups. Hey, we can get “Code Monkeys” in HD now! Well, maybe that last one won’t make much of a difference….
