Netflix This! R2-D2 Finally Discovered In Star Trek
These are not the droids you are looking for. Wait….actually one of them is.
Grab your copy of “Star Trek” (on sale today – DVD/Blu Ray or catch it on Netflix) because it’s the best movie of the year and because of all the great bonus stuff.
One lucky chap went through it to find a stray R2-D2 flying around in space. This little Easter Egg pops up early and we’re gonna be looking for R2 to make sure this isn’t a photoshop trick by Gizmodo.

2009 MTV Movie Awards Digital Short: Explosions
The 2009 MTV Movie Awards happened last night. Yeah, we didn’t know they still did them either. But kudos for this Saturday Night Live Andy Samberg song about movie explosions. Not for the movie clips. Not for Will Ferrell showing up as either Neil Diamond or that character from “Blades of Glory.” Nope, this video goes in the vault for the super awesome keyboard solo by J.J. Abrams.

New Star Trek TV Spot
“We are crazy excited about the J.J. Abrams version of the Star Trek universe. Sadly we still have a few months to go until we are overdosed with awesome as Abrams’ new crew of the Enterprise prepares to get the ship out of drydock.
JJ Abrams Cloverfield/1-18-08 New Trailer
CHUD.com, a great movie site, has an exclusive post about the viewing of the Cloverfield trailer and the title the author saw. The movie is being produced by J.J. Abrams and is a modern day monster movie set in New York City. The Cloverfield/1-18-08 teaser trailer premiered in front of the Transformers last summer and has been a mysterious entity on the Internet since then.
CHUD.com even claims the movie title will be “Cloverfield“. Or at least during the version he saw. There still is a few polished shots that will be added to the version the author saw but it looks like the new trailer and official name will be seen during the opening of Beowulf in a few weeks.
