This movie version is supposed to be closer to the book and not so much a remake of the 1969 John Wayne movie which is good because as much as I want to see the Dude stumbling across the prairie in his bath robe and six-shooters yelling “Hey there, Pilgrim” and spilling his White Russian I just don’t think that’s gonna make a good movie.

Well, that’s not the good news. We’ve known they were making that movie for a bit but we haven’t had a chance to see much about it. Thankfully, our friends at Film Drunk have pointed us in the direction of the trailer of the movie.

Also, one last thing to blow your mind. What if Sam Elliot, who played the Cowboy narrator called “The Stranger” in the Big Lebowski, was the narrator of this film. Just his presence in the film alone would tie the two together and open up the debate as to whether Rooster was the Great Grandpa of the Dude.

We have some good news and some bad news for you peeps. First, the good news. Disney has released the newest trailer for the upcoming TRON sequel and it looks great.

“TRON Legacy” follows up the groundbreaking original movie from 1982. In “TRON,” Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) gets sucked into a virtual world where his life is on the line. The movie broke technical ground with extensive CG effects for the time and also spawned various video games and comics.

Now the bad news. The movie, which is coming out in 3-D and IMAX, doesn’t hit theaters until mid December. F@#k! And yes, that is Olivia Wilde up there in the latex body suit. Yeah!
