Tiny Arnold Likes Big Links
Arnold would approve of August 4th being “No Megan Fox Day” which begs the question ‘What will we talk about.”
Technically, you can’t say that August 4th is “No Megan Fox Day” on that day to promote it or you violate the rules of the ban. Guess we’ll have to live.
We can do with a “No Jon and Fucking Kate plus whatever” ban for the rest of the year. Why they are so popular is beyond us…

ABC and Hulu have finally landed in bed together to our enjoyment. ABC did a good job at streaming HD quality episodes of “LOST” on their end but there’s just something easy about HULU. Seasons 1 & 5 are currently online at HULU to watch and help us get our Evangeline Lilly fix.
Get caught up with “LOST” again with the Season 1 Pilot episode. That’s the good one. Be sure to also catch up on the whole season before the last season begins airing at the end of the year and we all find out that the whole thing is a dream and we cut to Patrick Duffy in the shower even though he’s been shot and supposed to be dead.
HULU Denis Leary
The new HULU TV ad featuring Denis Leary is a riot. Starting with the Super Bowl commercial that featured Alex Baldwin the online video portal has grown leaps and bounds in a short time. Recent additions like FX’s awesome “Rescue Me” staring Denis Leary and a new contract with Disney/ABC to feature their content has made HULU a valuable place to watch TV shows and movies online.
Hulu Video Online
Hulu was first announced in March and was originally seen as a rival to Google’s YouTube, which had come under scrutiny for copyright infringement. NBC wanted a site where they could generated more revenue from online content than was given to them from such sites as YouTube and iTunes.
Hulu evolved to add Fox, Sony, MGM, and their various subsidiaries to the lineup. There were planes to allow for downloadable content that the user could purchase, similar to iTunes. If Hulu wants to survive they will have to embrace that fact. People will add the shows they want to the computers, iPods, and such. If they can’t get it easy and legal, well you know where they’ll go.
There’s a strong lineup of online content in the form of shows and some movies. However, there seems to be a 5 week backlog which doesn’t allow a new visitor or die-hard fan to catch up on an entire season. Also, no uploading it looks like right now which takes it out of the running in comparison to YouTube and Google Video.
Hulu can be a real advantage for such events like the Olympics if they can offer video feeds. NBC announced they will stream tons of content online next year for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
