Sedin Twins Ridiculously Awesome Goal

The Vancouver Canucks Henrik and Daniel Sedin have reached NHL superstar status and are being labeled as the Telepathy Twins. The are also known for mirroring each others actions on the bench. Freaky!

Be sure to watch the slow-mo replay of this goal. It’s sick! Henrik Sedin flips a pass blindly between his legs to his brother, Daniel, who makes a crazy goal while he’s shooting from between his legs.

Twins can be kinda creepy but when they do stuff like this, it’s awesome.

Now That’s A Hockey Game! Knoxville Ice Bears Clear the Bench with Fights

Hockey is a great sport but it’s a Hell of a lot better when there is a good fight.

Last week out hometown Knoxville Ice Bears set a league record in penalty minutes when a massive brawl cleared out the benches and resulted in a forfeit game due to a lack of players!

Officials called 32 penalties on 20 players and a coach Saturday night in the season ending game for the Ice Bears during fan appreciation night. When they said ‘fan appreciation‘ they sure meant it.

The Fayetteville FireAntz and the Knoxville Ice Bears clear benches after the 2nd period and the biggest brawl in SPHL history takes place. Ten Fayetteville players and the team’s coach had been ejected. Nine Knoxville players had been tossed.

A statement from the Ice Bears said no players or fans were injured but it is now the fans favorite game of the year. Let’s take a look at the brawl with a few fan videos:

Athletes strive for perfection, but at times they are prone to accidents — just like the rest of us. Whether it’s a ball bouncing off someone’s head for a home run, a goalie letting a puck slip past from center ice, an injury-inducing sneeze or a wardrobe malfunction, there are plenty of accidents that plague the pros.

We just hope this list doesn’t jinx the Olympics.

We do not want Team USA to make any mistakes when they beat Canada for the Gold Medal in Vancouver. And what’s up with NBC using tape delay for the Winter Olympics? Is this 1984? At least in 1984 you didn’t have Twitter, Google News, and anyone with a mobile phone to read you the results before you watched the events.

NBC, you suck. Oh, and here’s the Top 10 Own Goals in Sports list.

Michael Bay would be proud. This video was pitched as the opening for a college hockey program in Alaska.

The UAF Nanooks (AKA “The Alaska Nanooks”) declined this awesome video for being “too 80′s” as if there is such a thing. We think it’s absolutely beautiful. No one else has ever brought to life the beauty of bears, hockey, explosions and Kenny Loggins before!
