Sony Gets Their Wii On: Unveils New Motion Controller
Sony demos its own motion controller, the PlaystationMove, at the GDC in San Francisco today that has made some headlines in the gaming industry.
The Wii-like wands will be used in conjunction with the PlayStation Eye camera, which is required and will be available later this fall.
The motion controller features a nunchuk-style controller coupled with second motion controller outfitted with a large, ping-pong like ball on the end.
If Sony can capitalize on the motion-control gaming sector, it can really make some gains in the market as the Nintendo Wii does not offer many of the more adult games you can find on the PS3.
Watch the presentation video below from G4 which goes over the controller as well as some new games for the PS3.
Inappropriate Watchmen Games

Just in case the Watchmen movie didn’t leave you a little disappointed, here are some fun games from the graphic novel/movie that might just exist in a parallel universe.
[via Comics Alliance] While we admit that the logo they came up with is actually pretty brilliant, we here at ComicsAlliance were pretty shocked by last week’s announcement that “Watchmen,” Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ deeply cerebral work about the nature of super-heroics in “real-world” situations, would now be represented as tiny plastic HeroClix figures.
We can only assume that the decision to do a “Watchmen” HeroClix set was motivated by the fact that action figures just aren’t ironic enough, but hey: It could be worse! Even with the question of just what the Comedian’s “attack” stat represents hanging over every ‘Clix match, there actually are games that would be even less appropriate for the themes of the graphic novel, and ComicsAlliance’s Chris Sims and Caleb Goellner are here show just what they’d be.
