Star Wars creator George Lucas knows how to market his product. No other filmmaker has beat to the pulp merchandise opportunities than Lucas but despite the overwhelming offerings of Star Wars products this new one looks pretty cool.

A French-based fast food chain called “Quick” is promoting the The Phantom Menace in 3D in movie theaters with the new black Darth Vader burger, or Sith burger. Yes, the bun is black. It’s not burnt or rancid but made that way on purpose.

I just wish Heinz still made that purple ketchup. It would go so good on that black burger.

I don’t know much about “Quick” but I believe they are the group in France that offered the foie gras ‘burgers’.  I think I’d choose the black Darth burger myself.

[via The Daily Mail] A French fast food chain has revealed a promotional snack which really has gone to the Dark Side, a Star Wars-inspired burger with completely black buns.

The burger chain Quick cooked up the black-looking bun – named Dark Vador – to tie in with the release of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace in 3D.

Although the buns look like decidedly burned, they are in fact simply dyed, and have two beef patties with cheese, lettuce and tomato inbetween.

As much as I like cold pizza, mainly because it’s so lazy to fix, the reheating process of old pizza is always a chore. That’s because in the microwave it gets limp and loses its crispness. It’s alright but not as good as reheating it in the oven.

But there’s another way. Use a skillet. It sounds weird but you should give it a try on the next day after your next pizza night. Also, this works for french fries. Just a dab of oil and reheat the fries and you’re good to go.

Thanks to Michael Bay’s excessive use of explosions and napalm, you’ll want to take some SPF 30 into the movie theater with you next weekend as “Transformers 3 : Dark of the Moon” opens up.

To celebrate the blockbuster movie, TLC’s Cake Boss Buddy Valastro created a 2,000 pound Bumblebee Camaro Transformers cake. That’s one short ton of caked goodness I can sink my teeth into!

The cake was too big to build inside a bakery so the chefs had to build it off site. Check out the video on how they made the cake.

Everything went good until Michael Bay decided to light the candles with a flamethrower.

I was lucky enough to hit them up one day and saw that they put the Kool-Aid out.  Like I needed another reason to love them.

I’m sure a few die-hard Vols fans have done similar stuff with their weddings. I’d actually like to see a cake of Neyland Stadium and if you plan on having a wedding soon with a cake of Neyland Stadium please invite us. I know Thomas would want to be part of that.

Carl’s Jr. (or Hardee’s to us local folk) continues their march to exploding the hearts of their customers. They now have a footlong cheeseburger, which I guess contains about 35,346,503 calories.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d try one if I saw it.

The thought of a bunch of people working together to stuff a sausage for a world record and it not being on the set of a seedy adult movie is a little disheartening.  However, sausage is awesome so I’ll let it slide.

I’m just curious how many donkeys in this village are missing after the event….

And it’s not like they usually skimp on the servings there. But if you’re looking for a bit more, for $25 you can visit the Cold Stone Creamery and get them to fix you a monster Sundae. And we mean monstrous!

The series “Will You Build It” wondered if they could get a sundae with one of everything. They did. On it you get 1 quart Sweet Cream ice cream, 1 Quart Oreo Cream Filling ice cream, and 1 scoop of every mix-in and topping they have!

Now, surely this is way too much food for one person to handle. Right?

Let us introduce to you Tony Richards, the man, the myth, nay, the Legend.

KFC’s new Double Down sandwich replaces the bread with meat because bread just slows you down.  Stupid bread.

We think it’s a great idea.  Meat on meat sandwiches are a fantastic idea and we wished more restaurants would change up their menu to feature similar meals.   But we couldn’t help but notice that we’ve seen the idea of an all-meat sandwich somewhere else before.

That’s right!  It’s made with the Tracy Jordan Meat Machine.  The crazy actor lent his name to a line of grills that made sandwiches without bread. It looks likes some of the chefs at the KFC kitchen have ordered a couple of Meat Machines.

Just some cow and pig and whatever comes in hot dogs.  Well, maybe some turtles were harmed.  Who knows what’s in those hot dogs….

Now if they put that much effort into what they serve we might actually go there….
