We’re excited because “Star Trek” is finally coming out on DVD. We can’t believe we had to wait 5 months for it. This rapid turnover of movies nowadays is a far cry from when we grew up and movies came out on VHS about a year later. Usually the buzz of the movie had worn off by then and watching it again was almost a new experience unless you saw it a dozen times in the theater.

No streaming or torrents back in those days. Man, those days really sucked now that we think about it….
