Sweet! New Looney Toons Cartoon!

Oohhhh….what a find. I’m not sure when Warner Bros. were going to let us know there were new Looney Toons but apparently we didn’t get the memo. We had to find it out on those Internet Toobs.

The Looney Toons get a little update as Wile E. Coyote is back in his goofy attempts to catch that pesky Road Runner. Two new CG cartoons have popped up featuring the duo doing what they do best and that’s making good old fashioned cartoon violence. What sweetness!

Wonder when they’ll make some more Froghorn Leghorn cartoons?

Fur Of Flying : With an assortment of mail order products, Wile E. Coyote fashions himself a homemade helicopter helmet. Soaring through the sky and over the cliffs, its a surefire way to catch the Road Runner assuming he can avoid military testing grounds.

Peanuts, violence, and massacres. What more could you want? This old CalArts student film is a little dark and we’re not just talking about the story. The print is a little dark as well but it’s worth it to see Charlie Brown snap after having a bounty place on his head by the Great Pumpkin.

A neat little animated take on what can happen when someone loses their head. A very cool cartoon with an even cooler animation style. Somewhat reminiscent of Plymptoons.

Enjoy the Peeing Peanuts! Concept and Animation by PES. A cool and bizarre stop-motion animation of peanuts peeing into an ocean and something about the pee stream trying to catch a fish. Who knows? It’s really weird but cool at the same time. Kinda gives new meaning to the term “Golden Shower.”

Betty Boop Is Dirty!

One reason for the success of the early Betty Boop cartoons might be attributed to the subtle and sly physical jokes the animators used on Betty. Namely keeping Boop’s clothes on. Man, we miss the classics.
