Up until Battlefield 3 released their latest patch and drove the game into the game by nickel & diming us with Rented Servers, I would have said I would not have gone back to playing Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 3. It’s not because the game isn’t fun or challenging.
It kinda is. It’s really just a map pack for MW3 with no evolution to pushing the game anywhere new.
But the problem with video games online, which is amplified by MW3 more than any other game, is that violent video games is highly marketed toward kids and teens who just happen to have headsets.
And to be honest, they just don’t have the mental capacity to understand what they are saying into their mics. Hitting up a forum and hearing a bunch of tweens is very disheartening.
One guy had a bit too much of a feisty little prick and decided to record the angry kid and then play back the audio so that this stupid kid, who I’m thinking by the end of the video is to stupid to walk upright, ends up arguing with himself for several minutes.
You might think he’d figure it out. I was hoping he would eventually get the joke but instead he just kept reading from the Teenagers Guide To Talking Trash on Multiplayer Games. It’s a short book and there’s not much to it. Just roll of stupid insults and talk about how good your rank is. Pretty standard but extremely hilarious when you consider the situation of this idiot arguing with himself….and losing.
