This week marks the epic return of one of the least watch shows on television. NBC brings back Community to finish out its third season and if you’re a huge fan like me you’ll be hoping it will end with another season. And if fans can bring up the Nielsen ratings on the show it’ll be a sure thing. The show has a huge online presence, in the forms of episode views and goofy stuff like sites and gifs popping up, but that hasn’t translated into the traditional viewing ratings.
Maybe the hiatus will be a good thing because it has helped us appreciate what we have missed. And we’re not just talking Alison Brie. She will also be back in AMC’s Mad Men and that helps because we can’t get enough of our little Annie. Pic below via Alison Brie.
Last week saw a fantastic fan-made trailer for the upcoming Community season (Starts this Thursday) done in the style of the upcoming movie Prometheus. It was awesome and I never imagined a television network would come up with some to trump that. NBC release one of the sweetest trailers for any show I’ve seen since the first wave of J.J. Abrahams Lost showed up on ABC.
Before we get to the new and awesome trailer for the upcoming shows just know it features my new favorite animated GIF. Yes, it’s Chang tasering his ‘Chang!’ Wow! That dude is insane.
So besides Change going ‘nuts’ with his taser, we can also look forward to some cool story lines and moments. Check out the trailer for highlights like Evil Abed, Britta tripping out, a normal Pierce and a quicky wedding by Britta and Jeff. Awesome, so awesome. I can’t wait.
