So the reboot of the Spider-Man is happening and the first look at the movie, due out next summer, has already leaked onto the Googles. The original cast and crew is out this time around and after Spider-Man 3 I don’t blame Sony for the decision.
Emo Peter Parker should never have happened.
I’ll forgive Sam Raimi for that mishap since he’s the guy who brought us some awesome movies like The Evil Dead. But this just should never have happened:
Back to the new Spidey.
Director Marc Webb gets the nod as the new leader of Spider-Man which will prove to be a Joel Schumacher-type bust or, like the odd Raimi before him, an odd winner.
It’s hard to imagine anything in the middle with a guy whose biggest mark on cinema was (500) Days of Summer and since we just go pissed that there was a goofy dance scene in Spider-Man 3 I’m a bit worried.
The last 20 seconds of the bootlegged trailer are sweet, with a FPS aspect to it as Spidey flies through the city.
However, I feel the series takes a step back by doing an origins movie.
Hopefully, they will gloss over this because it really hasn’t been that long since the original Spider-Man came out.
