There’s something sweet and simple about taking a camera into a joint for a show called “You Can’t Shoot Here” and try to get some video of people telling you that you can’t shoot video there.
It makes a few of the persons in the videos confused but it’s a great skit.
H. Jon Benjamin is the man behind the fun. You might not know the name H. Jon Benjamin. That’s because since he’s become a big voice-over guy he’s changed his name to Jon Benjamin. Hope that clears things up.
You will know his voice from a number of animated shows like:
Coach McGuirk from Home Movies
Carl from Family Guy
Bob's Burgers
….and of course, Archer!
Now the folks at Comedy Central and Funny or Die are teaming up to bring you a new comedy series centered around the guy who voices some of our favorite characters on TV. And if you haven’t gotten into “Archer” yet I can’t recommend it enough.
“Jon Benjamin Has A Van” is best described as a mix of skits and investigative journalism. Or as I like to call it, “Coach McGirk Drives Around and Asks Crazy Questions.”
