A 3 minute video is out featuring actual gameplay from the upcoming “Battlefield 3″ video game. The Bad Company sequel is expected to land later this year, possibly around the holiday season but possible as soon as September. So far, the details on the game have been limited but we’re starting to see more and more bits about the game released. EA has released a new gameplay trailer titled “Fault Line Episode 1.”
Episode 2 will follow next week. This video shows some footage what they call the pre-Alpha testing and the animation is superb. The Battlefield series has become a big title for EA and should push “Call of Duty” for some units sold records.
For those of you caught up in the “Call of Duty : Black Ops” phenomenon I can say you’ll really dig this title. “Battlefield: Bad Company 2″ had huge maps with destructible environments, something I really wish COD had in their game. Add in the fact you can grab vehicles, Grand Theft Auto style, and go to town makes the game pretty cool to play.
