The current generation may even know director James Cameron as that dude who directed “Avatar.” Some older kids might remember him as the King of the World after that “Titanic” movie.
Others, the older generation like us, know him as the wife of Gale Anne Hurd who made that sequel to “Aliens.” Awesome movie and one of Paul Reiser’s best acting roles.
Shortly after the success of the small sci-fi flick “Terminator” Cameron got his first huge break at the helm of the sequel to the classic Ridley Scott “Alien” flick. And he didn’t disappoint as many cite Cameron’s “Aliens” as a superior movie to the predecessor.
Personally, I love both movies and each is great in their own right. As a big fan of “Aliens” I always wondered what might have been if there were a different ending. Thankfully, the hobos at HISHE (How It Should Have Ended) have solved that problem.
