Coming soon….Paul. Two British comic-book geeks traveling across the U.S. encounter an alien outside Area 51. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Spaced, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) join Sigourney Weaver, Seth Rogen, Jane Lynch and Jason Bateman in this goofy UFO movie.
The good news is that it is beyond great to see Frost and Pegg, who wrote the movie, are back together again while I wait on the “Spaced” movie to get made. The bad news is that the last piece of the puzzle, Edgar Wright, is not part of this production. Superbad director Greg Mottola steps into Wright’s place.
Can it work without Edgar? Who knows but I can’t wait to find out. Check out the new trailer and see what you think.
