This is the scariest thing I’ve ever watched.
How much money would it take to make you climb a 1768 foot metal tower while you carry a 30 lb. bag of tools?
That’s like climbing to the top of the Willis Tower in Chicago….and keep on going.
Regularly engineers work on TV towers across the country. To do this means getting to the top of some structures that are higher than skyscrapers. After taking a small elevator to about 1,600 feet, the workers then free climb the rest of the way. Crazy!
It took me about 3 tries to watch this video of a worker climbing the TV tower with his helmet cam. The fish-eye lens didn’t help with the view but I finally made it through. Now excuse my while I go hurl. Everything is dizzy right now….
