The Madden video game franchise has lasted 22 years which is more than twice as long as his NFL coaching career lasted. Of course, he won a Super Bowl and had 103 wins compared to 32 loses so it’s not like he sucked as a coach.
Madden became a popular sports announcer and pitchman. He either talked about it or ate it. One thing he didn’t eat was his Madden Football video games. The franchise is one of the most popular ever and still going strong.
