Scott Pilgrim has found the woman of his dreams but he must first face her 7 evil ex-boyfriends. That’s the premise of the indie-comic series by Bryan Lee O’Malley which first printed back in 2004.
After a successful run in the comic world, Pilgrim was headed toward Hollywood for a feature-length movie adaptation and today we finally have our first look with the release of the “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” trailer.
We are excited to see that the great director Edgar Wright (Spaced, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) became the lucky chap with the task of bringing the story of a slacker to the big screen. Michael Cera (Arrested Development) and Mary Elizabeth Winstead play the couple in love but it is the quirky, anime/video game aspect of the film that we love.
