Before Jay Leno pissed off everyone in the Late Night talk show arena he was a fledgling comic with aspirations of being an actor. He mainly popped up as an extra on TV shows but there was one brief moment when his star was at its highest and he got that coveted movie role.
It’s called “Collision Course” and stars Jay Leno and Pat “Karate Kid” Morita. If you haven’t seen it (and most people haven’t!) you’ll see why it was quickly forgotten. Basically, Jay Leno is a sexist, racist cop who pokes fun at his Asian sidekick.
