Stephen Colbert points out what we are all thinking.
What does Domino’s Pizza commercials touting how much they suck say about their customer base?
They’ve been in business for decades and apparently don’t mind serving you a steaming pile of crap. Nobody wants to know that the product they are purchasing stinks. If that were the case, no one would ever eat at Ruby Tuesday’s.
Now, Domino’s new ads point out that they listen to their customers and agree that their pizza tastes like cardboard with ketchup smeared on it. OK, we’re not gonna argue that. But throwing how much their products [used to] suck ass so much is not what we call a good ad campaign which is why Stephen Colbert named Domino’s as his Alpha Dog of the Week.

I work with Domino’s on some of its marketing efforts, and we’re honored that Colbert named us as “Alpha Dog of the Week.” Totally changing up the Domino’s pizza recipe was a bold move and its cool that Colbert thought it worthy of an Alpha Dog award.
