The use of green screen special effects in movies and television have come along so far in the digital age. It used to be expensive and difficult to incorporate so the technology was usually used best in big budget movies. Today it is a little more common. Thanks to the advances of digital technology, studios can use green screen technology and actually save money on sets and locations.
