Rock band MUSE has a new CD out and when asked to play their latest single on an Italian TV Show they got quite a shock when they were told to lip sync the song. This of course did not go over too well with the band.
However, like true professionals or Jessica Simpson would do, the band did perform the lip sync version of “The Uprising.” Well, kinda.
When Muse was forced to play to a track on an Italian talk show, they refused and rebelled in their own way. The band performed their new single, “Uprising,” as asked but instead of lip syncing to their own song the usual way, they pulled a big one over the talk show host and audience.
Lead vocalist and guitarist, Matthew Bellamy, faked the drums while their actual drummer, Dominic Howard, lip synced the song (perfectly, too!) Their bassist, Christopher Wolstenhome, took on the guitar and keys. So all in all, there was not one band member playing the correct instrument.
Keep an eye out for the drummer in the video below. He seems to be enjoying the moment!
Muse – Uprising – Live
This is not the first time they’ve pulled a stunt like this.
