FOR the last 2 and a half years a controversial murder trial has been building in our hometown of Knoxville.
The murders of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom has infuriated the public but the publicity from the national media has been rather low key for a variety of reasons no doubt due to mixed facts and the issue of race.
There’s no denying it anymore. The ugly trial is now going forth in our hometown and is to be opened up for the public debate like nothing Knoxville has seen in a very long time.
For those of you unfamiliar with the story you can get caught up with the links below. We will warn you, however, that the specifics of the case are shocking. The details about the torture and murders of Christian and Newsom are extremely graphic and may be unsettling to some. Hell, they’re unsettling to us.
It’s a brutal assault on your senses and imagination to try and understand why or how this event could have happened. Day One of the trials, which focuses on the defendant Letalvis Cobbins, began today. Each of the defendants will be tried separately.
What does “The DNA does not lie.” mean? Shouldn’t there have be eyewitnesses like the Bible says? Two of them?

The DNA reference is due to the Letalvis and Lemaricus trials based on the guys denying their involvement or trying to downplay their involvement as not part of the sexual acts. DNA evidence proved that both men were involved and proved what they did to Newsom and Christian.
Without that evidence, and no witnesses other than their lying friends, there was no way to proved who did what. It is the key piece of evidence that proved the charges that made them eligible for death penalty and overshadowed their constant lying about their involvements.

Why should anyone have mercy on these monsters? We should save time and money and just execute them ourselves. The parents should get first dibs! They don’t deserve a second chance. For that matter they don’t deserve the chance to go to jail for an insane amount of years and then be released. They don’t deserve a chance to sit and wait on death row. This crime just infuriates me, especially how the throw “race” into it. Race had nothing to do with it. This is just awful. I hope they all burn in HELL!! That is where they should be!
When I first ran up on this story, I was shocked and appalled. And then I cried. And I do every time I think about it.
These kids did not deserve to die in such a horrible, horrible manner. Those cretins ALL deserve the hot shot, including Vanessa. She lied thru her teeth-she was aware of what was going on and may have participated in the crime as well.
Soon as they would have brought a blindfolded white girl in the house , she should have known something bad was going down. And when they started raping the guy and then cut off his penis? That prety much seals it that this is not good. Any sane (innocent) person would have realized it was time to go. They would have had to shoot me in the back because I would have been haulin it out of there. And call me a snitch because I would have called the police. She stayed and didnt, because she was involved.
I blogged this (http://wp.me/p1udy-15R) and a creep that runs a website or two in support of these inhumans kept saying stupid things like, “they went there for Christian to have sex with a Black thug, she got the deluxe package” and that “Christian killed her boyfriend”… how droll. I had to close comments it got so ugly. These must be either relatives of these cretins or a seriously deranged person in need of a real life.
Watching some of the videos on the net about the trial, I could see the father of Christian (I think) looking like if he could only have 5 minutes with that piece of garbage that took his lil girl away…
I would have given it to him.
This breaks my heart to think of these kids last moments in that house…

Just to let people know, the murderers of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom will have to be retried starting with Cobbins in June. The reason, because the judge plead out to buying hundreds of opiate based pain killers from a dealer. Pray for these families because they are going to have to relive this nightmare again.
