We like this commercial and we cannot lie. We like the song “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix-a-Lot. It’s kind of a generational thing but the song really holds up, even in parody. Here’s the latest Burger King and Sponge Bob Square Pants commercial with the (creepy) King mixing up the song as “I Like Square Butts.”
Yes, just what we all want to teach preschoolers, to be flaunting and staring at butts. If we want to teach girls to dance like strippers and boys to be perverts, we need to start young – like pre-k. And all thanks to Burger King and Nickelodeon for their sexualization of preschoolers. Those who like this thing must be just as sexually twisted.

Well , “I like Square butts”. What is the point. You’re just going for a commercial about spongebob toys and you talk about square butts? Now kids are probably be confused like I am. Nickelodeon and Burger King came up with this I cant even understand what they are saying.

nwaff if I know anything, its that little kids think butts, let alone the word, are silly. instead of thinking “i should stare at butts and be a pervert” or “i should dance like those girls” they will think, “omfg lol they’re funny!!!” and “lol square butts! now thats just silly! only spongebob has a squarebutt.” people, in order to understand this, you have to be a child at heart.
I keep hearing ADULTS say they think the as’s funny. IT’S FOR A KID’S MEAL. IT’S AIMED AT KIDS. These Burger King commercials have been really weird lately. First they had that one with Mr. Burger King lying down by the fire, chest exposed, with as much of a “come-hither” look as he could express through that creepy plastic face. Clearly not for kids, and definitely not making me hungry. And now scantily-clad women are shaking their butts around. So their butts are square – that’s supposed negate the sexy factor? The girls are still shaking their butts in short skirts, and the King is drooling over their butts. Imagine it’s not TV. Imagine a salesman knocking on your door and wanting to talk to your kids, and what he wants to tell them is how yummy he finds girls in short skirts shaking their square butts around. Would you let him in?
