What’s you child worth? One man in Cali put a price on his 14-year old daughter as $16,000, 100 cases of beer, and several cases of meat. We think that’s oddly specific for the sale price of a human being and wonder if that was the dad’s original asking price.
It might turn out that the meat and beer were for a party and that the daughter was being sold into marriage. That’s not as fun as a sliding scale that exists that creates a price based on age equal to processed meats and alcoholic beverages.
A California man has been arrested for arranging for his 14-year-old daughter to marry a neighbor in exchange for $16,000, 100 cases of beer and several cases of meat, police said.
