We usually don’t like to mix religion into our blogs, but these two links deserve the attention. Both are extraordinary efforts in the field of LEGOS, where one lady built a huge church and another guy depicts the Bible.

PART I : ABSTON CHURCH OF CHRIST in LEGOS

Check out her main website for full details on construction and more pictures. As you can see, this lady and her cat painstakingly made a replica of the church, complete with people, out of Legos.

PART II : THE BRICK TESTAMENT

This one gets noted for the hard effort by the creator to make a LEGO version of the Bible. They’ve gotten most of the Old Testament done right now and a few books are even published for some of the stories. Let’s just say he didn’t hold back when it came to blood and sex in the Bible.

The Rev. Brendan Powell Smith created this series and he is actually not a Reverend, which seems a little wrong. He’d make Mel Gibson proud, though!
